Abstract
Clinical, cytologic and serologic evidence of a natural infection with Criptococcus was identified in a domestic short-haired cat from La Mesa, Cundinamarca (Colombia); C. neoformans var. grubii was isolated in a culture of the nasal secretions of the patient. Fluconazol was used for the specific treatment; clinical recovery was observed as from the first month of treatment.
